INTERN AT KINETIX

We are pleased to offer internships at the high school and undergraduate level as well as DPT clinical rotation experiences.

At Kinetix you will learn from performance physical therapists in a gym-like medical facility utilizing cutting edge rehabilitation treatments combined with strength and conditioning principles. This environment will expose students to a variety of pathologies and conditions. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to observe and participate in patient care.

We specialize in the treatment of active adults and athletes, but you can expect to see patients ranging from 8 years old to 90. Our goal is to keep these people active and engaged with their fitness or sporting program.

It’s not enough for us to help patients with their pain; we want to see them move and function better as well.

High School and Undergraduate Program

Objective:
To gain exposure to the field of physical therapy and develop foundational skills. This internship will help students to develop soft skills such as communication with providers and patients, learn about the healthcare environment, build a professional network and gain practical experience.

Undergrad students will have the opportunity to start contributing to a patient’s progressive program design.

Throughout the experience interns will work with patients to learn and interact with the human body, essentially taking the next step in the careers of sports medicine and physical therapy.
